[VBA] [Macro] How can I update a named range on multiple worksheets through a VB script?

Excel VBA Events allow you to run a macro when a specific event occurs. An event could be an action such as opening a new workbook, inserting a new worksheet, double-clicking on a cell, etc. In this tutorial, I cover everything there is to know about Excel VBA Events - with useful examples. It is not part of VBA, but it is in an external library which we can access easily. The ArrayList is the same one that is used in the language C#. As you would expect, the ArrayList has a built-in sort, array conversion and other functionality that you would expect in a modern programming language. Unhide Multiple Sheets Macro.xlsm (64.2 KB) The lines in the code above that start with “For” and “Next” represent a For-Next Loop Statement. The first line “For Each ws In ActiveWorkbook.Worksheets” tells the macro to loop through each worksheet in the worksheets collection of the workbook. Go to the Developer Tab and click on the Visual Basic icon (or use the keyboard shortcut Alt + F11). In the VB Editor, right-click on any of the objects and go to Insert and select Module. Copy paste the above code in the module code window. Close the VB Editor. Click here to download the example file. Go to your developer tab and click on "Visual Basic" to open the Visual Basic Editor. On the left side in "Project Window", right click on the name of your workbook and insert a new module. Just paste your code into the module and close it. Now, go to your developer tab and click on the macro button. To copy a sheet in Excel with one of the above macros, you can either insert the VBA code into your own book or run a macro from our sample workbook. How to add a macro to your workbook. To insert the code in your workbook, perform these steps: Open the worksheet you want to copy. Press Alt + F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor. Use this simple line of code to update your pivot table automatically. You can use either of 3 methods of auto refreshing pivot tables. Run Macro If Any Change Made on Sheet in Specified Range: In your VBA practices, you would get the need to run macros when a certain range or cell changes. In that case, to run macros when a change is made to a ... From using the macro recorder, I see that ADD2 is used to make a data connection. I have tried to develop a way to have VBA automatically make the connection, but my attempts are not successful. The Connection String seems to be consistent. Thus, this could be easily written into VBA. I have tried to use Range to deal with the objects in ADD2. I am working with Excel 2013 trying to add a macro to print too but it's not working. Yes, I have saved it as .xlsm but there is no option to "add macro" when I right-press with mouse over the command button. I can add the macro in VBA but it's like I can't get the two to talk to each other.

I had a major burnout last year developing cybersecurity software that dealt with some very very disturbing issues. I've moved to Cambridge in the meantime and I've got my code mojo back but I only want to start working part-time. Understandably almost every job I see is full-time.
Does anyone have a recommendation where to look for part-time work? Most interested in python/ruby/JS non web-dev work but would consider web back-end if the API was exciting.

For starters huge congrats to everyone who sat recently, I had my L2 exam on Friday just gone and utterly relieved to be able to have it behind me especially going into the holidays.
On that topic, does anybody else have an odd feeling of emptiness emerging into their lives now that every living second isn't dedicated to either the 9-to-5 or to studying? I know it's only natural considering the huge time investment that these exams are but to add a bit of positivity and escape the constant refreshing by new to read peoples' takes & reactions - what are some of the ways you have celebrated, or what are the things you've gotten to finally enjoy again after sitting these (any) exams?

2021.11.30 17:26 Dabbing_Squid Anybody Find Mindfulness a little over used or overhype? And do people find platitudes and self help grifting a problem in mental health awareness?

I hope i don't upset anybody when ever I mention this the conversation gets heated idk why. This is just my own personal anecdote. I find stuff like clean your room useful as its somewhere too start. I just find telling somebody to fix themselves or to clean their room before they change the world to be completely misguided and condescending. MLK was a great man but had his own personal problems does that mean he should of never of done the great things he did because he cheated? Allot of the pladitudes I hear are perhaps inspiring but very overused and not useful allot of the time. Stuff like "Do what you love and the money will follow" is just not true for everybody .Another one is "have faith" just not very good advice if something is not working you must take action. Only advice I will give is people too read up on some criticism on some of the big self help writers I think you will find you have been duped and perhaps other things would be better spending time on.
And for mindfulness I find it useful for generalized Anxiety or Ruminating about stuff. Other things for me at least like Prolonged Anxiety with Social Anxiety where I don't really have negative self talk or obbessive thinking. I just get very nervous Automatic nervous system Responses in some very minor circumstances like going to the bank or getting a haircut and circumstances more major like Job Interviews or presentations I never found it helpful . I find long term exposure Useful something about "accepting anxiety for what it is" works very well for minor anxiety or spiraling thoughts but when your having near panic attacks over very minor things I don't feel any positive results from feeling it or bringing your attention back into the moment or acceptance. Especially when you have to perform like talk to somebody in a job interview or deal with a customer. Yeah I get the point of accepting if you make mistakes, act awkward, tremble, sweating hard, walk awkwardly. I can understand accepting it very long prolonged periods of anxiety or doing the same thing over and over again and the stress and anxiety intenseness stays the same you might want to consider other avenues.
From my experience you eventually want your body too stop overacting. And when I tell a therapist Exactly that that they act like I personally attacked their way of life or something. I was told to stop resisting and too just feel the anxiety. And the therapist would recommend I use it for some odd circumstances like when my Stomach hurts from my IBS. They would say "feel where it hurts". I don't get it lol what are they trying to accomplish with this? I've seen Mindfulness for IBS stuff too on YouTube I mean its diahrea I feel very mindful of it and I don't resist the pain nor do I beat myself over it I have accepted it. Wanting a possible symptom relief is not refusing too accept it. Somebody who can never walk again can accept the fact they never will again but they can still wish perhaps one day they will that not fighting or refusing too accept something. And I feel they change their definition of mindfulness I had an experience with a teacher in my school who was teaching people it and one student said they thought it was a little overhyped. At first the Teacher said It can Reduce Anxiety and Stress but after a student said that. The Teacher then stated t Its not about reducing Anxiety its about Acceptance of the anxiety. From some articles I see they describe it both ways. For me it does reduce anxiety and stress for some circumstances so I don't know why some people say its not suppose too and its about acceptance. Too me they perhaps have a little too much personal attachment to it which might be from possible New Age Beliefs that I don't share. Nothing wrong with Religion or New Age ideas but I don't think it should cloud judgment over critiques over a practice that while having some evidence supporting its use. The overall Quality of evidence is lacking.

So, I have a player in my game who's an Arkus and uses Anecdote pretty much every time any sort of skill is being used if possible (so telling a minute long story mid-negotiations doesn't really make much sense, but right before trying to dismantle some numenera does).
My confusion came up when it came to how exactly the skill works mechanically. It says for an hour the listeners are trained in whatever the task is. Does that follow the normal training skill track or make them specifically trained.
Option A: Player X has inability in skill. Arkus uses Anecdote and now they are considered trained. Option B: Player X has inability in skill. Arkus uses Anecdote and now they are considered untrained.
If option B, does that also mean someone trained in a skill would then move to specialized in the anecdote's skill?
